| i am trying to find any information on a sideboard that my wife and i acquired from her mother.i know nothing about antique furniture other than what i have learned on the internet.this sideboard or buffet table looks very old,i do not know what kind of wood it is made of or of what period.i can tell you that i have found a stamped design with the letters JUS and under those letters is the letter L.there is one of these stamps or markings on each inside edge othe panel doors,also on the hardware,stamped on the backside of the pulls is BRITISH MADE and rd no,but no numbers after.could someone give me some advice or tell me something about this particular piece?we cannot afford to have it appraised at this time or i would have already done so.it also has a mirrored back and has flowers and designs around the edges and veneered on the two panel doors.any information would be greatly appreciated.tracy b |
